Thank you for stopping by and visiting our on-line home.  I expect you will find the information necessary in determining when to come by and be a part of our gathered worshiping community.  Making the decision to visit a church can be a difficult one to make; one that has many factors to consider before visiting.   I trust that when you decide to visit us, you will see us for who we are: a family that seeks to live out an authentic, simple, and meaningful Christian faith.
We value our family atmosphere here at Rolling Hills Church.  This is why we make sure to include as many people as possible in our gatherings.  During worship on Sunday mornings, you will be a part of heart-felt worship.  You can witness a children’s mini-sermon that seeks to show our children that they matter greatly to us and that they are the church today, not of tomorrow.  You will also hear a message that seeks to glorify God by bringing us ever closer to Him .  We value prayer here, so you will also have an opportunity, if you desire, to share any prayer requests, give a praise to God, or simply share what has been going on in your life.  We do this because we want one another to know and/or remember that the God we worship is active and moving in our lives daily.
Another feature of our worship gathering that you will notice is the time that we spend greeting one another.  We do this because we genuinely like each other.  I understand that to some, this can be an uncomfortable experience having strangers come up to you and introduce themselves, but, I hope that instead of feeling uncomfortable, you will be encouraged by seeing a group of people that are excited to belong somewhere.
Belonging is something that we believe is important.  I pray that through our worship time together, you will see that you do belong.  Come as you are.  We can only be as we are – and that is the same as you: seeking to find a place within which we can worship God as His church.  We are a casual place which means that you are free to dress however you want.  Sometimes, I am in jeans, other times in a tie, but most of the time, somewhere in between.
After our children’s sermon, our children are dismissed to Kid’s Church.  Feel free to take your children down, introduce yourself to our trained and qualified teachers, and then come back in for the remainder of our time together.  After worship, plan to stick around and enjoy some treats from our coffee bar, get to know some others, and discover why Rolling Hills Church is a great place to belong.
In Christ,
Greg Drayer
